Day tours of Bagan

Whether you have a part day, whole day or a number of days for exploring in and around Bagan, Min can make sure you make the most of your time in Bagan. He can meet you at the airport, bus or train station; source transport for the day; and knows how to navigate the dusty trails, tracks and roads connecting the 2,000+ temples and pagodas of Bagan.

Min caters his tours to fit with the timeframes, interests and preferences of his guests. He can introduce you to the history and stories of Bagan, and show you some of the hidden and lesser-known structures dotted around the archaeological zone.

Talk to Min about your preferred mode of transport, from air-conditioned car, enviro-friendly electric bike (or e-bike), horse and cart, bicycle, boat or exploring on foot – or a combination of these.

And you can add in extras to suit your tastes – a sunset cruise, cooking lesson, shopping for handicrafts, puppet show, visit to a lacquerware shop, massage, haircut, or enjoying some locally produced “toddy wine” ….. just pay the local goods/service provider directly for any additional goods/services, and support local Bagan businesses.

Day trips out of Bagan, eg to Mt Popa, spiritual home to Myanmar’s 37 nat spirits, can also be arranged.

Cost for a full day of touring with Min is $US35 (or equivalent in Myanmar kyat) + transport costs + any local goods or services you’ve chosen to include. Bookings  in advance are recommended,  but bookings on arrival in Bagan are accepted if space allows.
